Admiral Scurvy here, with his excellent companion, Squall, was the highlight of this week’s episode of She-Ra: Anchors Aloft, which was a two-parter! Oooh. It was filled with high stakes on the high seas, hijinks from hi-ding mice, and mi-hi-ghty questionable ethics from our favorite sea scalawag, the Sea Hawk.
Basically, Adora gets captured at sea while having a boat-iful date with Sea Hawk, who I guess is her boyfriend now, and there is a lot of drama as Sea Hawk loses his ship to a Horde attack and has to mount a rescue with his crew and some new gadgets he collects in an old grotto. There’s … a lot going on.
Here to walk you through it, as always, are Stalwart Scott of the Seven Seas, Willfull William, who never waves a white flag, and Rowdy Rotten Rebekah, who knows all the best sea chanteys. I have to warn you (Rebekah is writing this week’s newsletter, by the way, which explains the run-on sentences), though, Rebekah got VERY upset at this episode and will be happy to use this platform to tell you the differences between the Bad Boy you might want to date and the Bad Man, who is definitely not boyfriend material. You hear me, Sea Hawk?
