Episode 69: Glimmer, Come Home

We often forget that Glimmer – pastel princess of Bright Moon and light magic mage – used to be the leader of the Great Rebellion. That is, until Force Captain Adora took over and recruited that brawny She-Ra woman to execute all her plans.

Well, Glimmer’s simmering resentments come bubbling to the surface this week when Adora stops her from running headlong at some troopers who captured a regional food storage warehouse. Our buddy Imp overhears Glimmer’s temper tantrum and races to tell Shadow Weaver, who then tricks Glimmer into defecting from the rebellion.

We’ll meet some undercover troopers, a mysterious “wubble” creature, and deconstruct a bizarre talking reflection sequence. Listen out also for our debate about “Bloody Mary” rules and our obsession in the 80s with kid runaway stories.

Somebody, set up a professional development program for the rebellion HR Department!
