Mekanek is harboring a secret – and now we know it, because Duncan can’t wait to tell someone about his friend’s tragic history.
As Duncan explains to some unsettled children, Mekanek – our vertically-enhanced friend – lost his son in a storm and later pledged his service to the palace because Duncan saved him (and gave him some upgrades to boot). For now, Mekanek’s son Phillip is lost. But Mekanek believes that, one day, they will reunite.
Yet he probably never imagined that Phillip was rescued by the dastardly Count Marzo (a wicked nobleman with Elizabethian pantaloons and tidy goatee). As Mekanek will learn, Marzo is willing to release Phillip, but is the price too high? And can He-Man and pals change the terms of Marzo’s extortion attempt?
Your questions will be answered, but not without a a trip in a toy convoy, a visit to the bee people, and a cameo by (maybe) Fisto’s spider. Plus, we hear about Scott’s vacation child-supervision tips and discuss ole-timey boxcar Transformers.
Then, it’s time for our 13th and FINAL lightning round. We’ll chat a little about this milestone and future show plans.
