OK, here’s my pitch for a new TV show: A woman who runs an empire from her home is MARRIED to her house! We could be talking about the worst sitcom ever created, or the Sorceress in this episode of “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.”
The Spirit of Grayskull (a floating maroon head) makes a rare appearance this week to council Sorceress and her temporary replacement … Teela! That’s right: After Sorceress is zapped to another dimension by Skeletor, the Spirit summons Teela to sit on the castle throne and “try her best” to marshal the powers of Grayskull against the evil warriors. Her friends are rooting for her, but it’s debatable whether they’re being helpful. Even so, we have a lot of fun seeing Teela use her wits to frustrate Skeletor and his nasty pals. Meanwhile, He-Man and Battle Cat try to rescue Old Sorceress (TM) from another primordial crud-scape dimension, which actually looks a lot like Eternia.
We cover a lot of ground in this one. In addition to the details of this week’s story, we’re talking about prom, color science and garbage disposals. Then we enter our twelfth lightning round! Did someone ask for more of Loo-Kee’s people and a talking slime pig?
