OK, so you remember how – for the past 77 weeks – He-Man smashed all those castle walls, mountain peaks and pretty much anything that prevented him from walking in a straight line? And you know how we sometimes wonder whether there are any consequences to solving conflicts like you’re the Kool-Aid man?
Well, Skeletor’s been thinking about He-Man’s reckless attitude as well, and he’s concocted the most evil scheme of his illustrious career.
In the last broadcast episode of He-Man, the Prince of Snake Mountain plans to convince He-Man that his destructive carelessness has cost the life of an innocent man! To execute said plan, he’ll enlist the goblin general Tataran to pose as a villager’s body, and it’s the perfect scheme because goblins have no heart – and, thus, no heartbeat.
What follows is a decidedly nuanced episode of He-Man, in which He-Man behaves as a fully dimensional character, and speaking of dimensions, we’ll enjoy some cinematic shading during a dramatic event on the parapets of Castle Grayskull.
Will He-Man discover the ruse in time to stop Teela from sacrificing her life? Will Trap-Jaw take Skeletor’s hints to leave the room? We’ll tell you all about it, plus we’ll weigh in on the practice of “pranking” on our last review episode of “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!”
