The one thing you have to allow about Perfuma is that she’s her own person.
You might say Perfuma is … a lot. Or, as Mermista explains, “you know how she is.” Which is to say: single-minded in her expectation that the world should be festooned with flowers, and also sunshine and happiness. Wherever she travels, things begin to bloom.
Naturally, the evil Horde must kidnap her if their plan to cover the Whispering Woods in darkness is to succeed. Lucky for them, Light Hope has advised the rebels to abandon their rescue plans. But is that because Perfuma’s freedom depends on them not interfering, or because Light Hope – in his ancient wisdom – is thinking about what’s best for everybody?
While we try to suss out his intentions, we’ll see Mantenna emerge from the shower, learn about the Black Ruby and have some honestly-pretty-good laughs at how Hordak fares in the presence of Peruma.
So, wake up, sleepy-heads, pull that garland out of your hair, and learn about Hordak’s flowery foe.
